Search Appliance
By default when the Search Appliance is directly accessed, as in
http://hostname_or_ip it will present a page that allows selection
of the admin or search interface. This option allows you to replace that
page with any HTML you devise. The HTML you upload should refer to
images and such using fully qualified URLs because they can not
be uploaded to the Search Appliance for use in relative URLs.
Checking Default will revert the Search Appliance home page to
its factory behavior.
