Search Appliance
Syntax: select Relevance, Date, or URL button
This determines the default ordering of search results.
Rank - search results are ordered by rank (or relevance)
by default.Date - search results are ordered by date descending
(newest first) by default.URL - search results ordered by their URLs alphabetically
by default.
Search users may select the alternate ordering from this default in
the Advanced search form. Note that more ordering options are
possible by setting the order query variable directly; see
discussion under Search Parameters - Search control
(here).
